About Me
My name is Michael Hayes and I am a very outgoing nature oriented person. The few things I have to say about my very short past are that I am a 2004 graduate of Hickory High School in Chesapeake Virginia. After high school I attended Old Dominion University. There I was an information technology major struggling to figure out what to do with my life. I attended ODU for three years and finally decided like most students that I should have taken a break out of high school. I made my decision to take a short recess from college when I decided to take a stab at the real world and try working full time for a living. The full time job I took ended up not working out very well and that is in tern how I made my decision to come talk to someone here at ECPI. The one true passion I have in my life right now is surfing. I can honestly say that with out surfing I would have no clue where would be now. It has changed my life, body and soul. My other hobbies include playing golf and hanging out with friends.
Future plans for this college student include graduating with a bachelor’s degree in information sciences focusing in web design. My short term goal is to take my classes with a grain of salt and get A’s Two classes at a time. My mid to long term goal is to learn how to balance work, school, and play and manage my time wisely to achieve my short term goal of A’s and B’s. Then with the short term and mid to long term goals in mind my long term goal, which I would like to reach in approximately five or so years is to work out of my house doing productions i.e. studio recording advertisement and videography. The final portion of this long term goal is to be doing the work out of my house in my dream location of the outer banks where I can work and play on my own time living comfortably with a wife and family. These are the goals and strategies that I have come up with from my past and present and hopefully near future.
